A place to enjoy learning and have fun, caring, learning and growing
About Iver Village Infant Academy and Nursery
Iver Village Infant Academy, part of The Park Federation, is a two-form entry school based in the heart of Iver Village. We also have a nursery on site for the younger children.
Each year group has its own outdoor learning area and the Reception classes and nursery share their own dedicated outdoor play area which has been designed to maximise the learning opportunities for the children. The children receive rich and varied experiences throughout the curriculum, where they develop confidence and self-esteem. We are delighted with our new outdoor learning area called Muddy Puddles, where all the children will be able to enjoy a wider and broader curriculum.
We believe in the importance of promoting learning behaviour within all children which will benefit them now and in the future. At our school we value every child and encourage them to develop socially, emotionally, physically and academically to achieve their full potential during their school life. We aim for the children to leave our school as confident, resilient learners with the skills needed to take on any challenges that life may offer them in the future.
We strive to provide a caring and nurturing environment where children and parents are welcomed whatever their background or needs. At Iver Village Infant School we value our similarities and differences. We have high expectations of all in our school community and everyone is encouraged to work hard and do their best. We aim to become a community of life long learners who strive for excellence and are inspired by achievement and success. This is achieved with the support of a very committed staff, who work extremely hard to enable the children in their care
achieve the best they possibly can.
We have an active Governing Body and Governors monitor and support what is happening in school, visiting the school regularly to meet children, staff, and parents. We have positive parental involvement and the parent/ teacher group, Friends of Iver School (FISA) support fund-raising events. They are always looking for new ways to raise money for the school and would welcome any extra support from the community.
